I am very excited to be part of the online training team of Choice Theory Basic Intensive Training. I have been a counsellor in private practice, a trainer, independent facilitator and human services and business consultant for over three decades.

Approximately 15 years ago, I was introduced to Dr. Glasser's knowledge and tools. This changed my professional life radically. The knowledge base is so useful, the skills and techniques inspiring, and I believe they have improved my professional practice 100%.

I combine this knowledge base with 40 years of yoga practice and 25 years of teaching yoga and working with people therapeutically to heal their body mind complex.

I’m working with businesses, not for profit organisations, Aboriginal organisations and the general community sector. I have also specialised in working with people with a mental health diagnosis or a chronic pain diagnosis, plus have extensive experience working with abuse survivors.

I am delighted to be able to reach out to people all over the world who are looking for a less pathologizing way of working and/or living. If you want a new and empowering perspective to working in the medical model or new skills and knowledge that enable you to remain working within the medical model this training will be for you.

The concepts of Choice Theory have helped many people understand why people do what they do (including ourselves) and as a result we are able to live our lives to the best of our potential. I practice Choice Theory both personally and professionally, and find it to be a useful and practical approach to understanding human behavior for anyone, no matter what field you work in. I have worked with college students in a crisis, counseling, and conduct capacity for 13 years and currently work as a grief therapist as well as a mental health consultant & trainer.
